Membership Benefits

The Society offers many benefits to members.

• The Society journal, ‘The Overprinter’ is issued quarterly and contains information about the Society’s programme of events and many articles written by the members on their areas of interest. The journal has been digitised and it can be searched for the benefit of members to perform research. Members also have the facility to receive a printed copy which can be shipped worldwide if the electronic version is not preferred.
• The Society holds several meetings each year, usually to coincide with major stamp fairs, where members are encouraged to display their collections, ask questions or just sit and learn.
• For those that can’t get to the in-person meetings, the Society has ‘Zoom’ based meetings where all members can take part. There are usually 3 presentations by members and take place several times a year.
• There is also a residential meeting, that enables members to display their stamps and get to know other members. The Society has had several meetings in Gibraltar with other philatelic groups, where the overprints of Morocco are discussed.
• There is also a society auction and a  ‘packets’ group through which members can sell their surplus material or buy new items for their collection.
• The group has also published many important study papers on the topic area and will continue to support and encourage members to do so.
